For years, Robert Lewandowski has been unstoppable. In 2020 he was named The Best FIFA Men’s Player, and this year he could win the Ballon d’Or for the first time. There’s a pretty strong case for the 33-year-old. He broke Gerd Müller’s almost 50-year record with his 41 goals in the Bundesliga last season. The 2020/21 Golden Shoe award for the leading goalscorer in Europe went to him, while the Pole also fired Bayern to victory in the 2021 DFL Supercup.
