Maxim Leitsch went from zero to hero. Three days before Bochum’s Bundesliga clash with Greuther Fürth, his unfortunate back pass in the last minute of extra time led to his team being knocked out of the DFB Cup by Freiburg. Then on Matchday 25, the defender netted the crucial opening goal in Bochum’s 2-1 victory over Fürth.
