Neuer is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world and one of the best of all time. There’s a reason that he has been named World Goalkeeper of the Year five times. This is his 16th season of guarding the net in the Bundesliga (FC Schalke 04 & Bayern München) and making the sweeper-keeper role his own. As well as being an outstanding player of the ball with his feet, he is particularly known for spectacular 1-on-1 saves and handling long-range shots.
