Athletic Club and the Fundazioa, together with the Aterpe Programme, are celebrating World Children’s Day today with a clear objective: STOPPING violence against children in sport. Unai Simón, the red-and-white international goalkeeper, joins this demand through a short video in which he calls for the need to stop this type of violence against minors. A task that falls to everyone, as it is society as a whole that must take responsibility for ensuring that the control mechanisms and the processes and resources necessary to guarantee the universal rights of children, approved in the Universal Declaration of Children’s Rights in 1989, are in place.
