Leighton Baines’ Everton Under-18s begin their FA Youth Cup campaign with a third-round tie against Reading at Goodison Park (7pm GMT).
The Under-18s head into the clash full of confidence after thrashing Derby County 5-1 in the league over the weekend.
Everton have lifted the FA Youth Cup three times – in 1965, 1984 and 1998 – while finishing runners-up of the competition on four occasions.
