Jose Angel Iribar and Txetxu Rojo, the two Lions with the most appearances in Athletic Club history, were teammates between 1965 and 1980.
“Txetxu started at Athletic very young. He only ever wanted to play and fight for Athletic. He is an example of everything this club stands for,” the legendary goalkeeper said about his friend.
