Steven Berghuis is uitgeroepen tot Speler van het Jaar. De Nederlands international volgt daarmee Lisandro Martínez op, die vorig seizoen de prijs ontving. Berghuis kreeg de prijs uit handen van Fabian Nagtzaam, directeur-voorzitter van de supportersvereniging.
