Con motivo de la celebración del Día Internacional del Orgullo LGTBIQ+, el Athletic Club ha querido mostrar su apoyo a todas las personas que desean amar y vivir libremente su orientación sexual. Para ello, ha abierto las puertas del vestuario de su primer equipo masculino a José Antonio Nielfa «La Otxoa», socio de la entidad e hincha acérrimo del Athletic.
LGTBIQ+ Harrotasunaren Nazioarteko Eguna dela eta, Athletic Clubek bere sexu-orientazioa askatasunez maitatu eta bizi nahi duten pertsona guztiei babesa adierazi nahi izan die. Horretarako, bere gizonezkoen lehen taldeko aldagelako ateak ireki dizkio Jose Antonio Nielfa «La Otxoa» ri, erakundeko bazkideari eta Athleticeko zale amorratuari.
