Bilbao-born Txus Vidorreta, fifth in terms of most games coached in Spain’s top basketball league, has been named Athletic’s 125th anniversary ambassador for August.
The charismatic basketball coach received the distinction in the build-up to our LaLiga season opener against Real Madrid at San Mamés on 12 August, before returning to Tenerife to begin pre-season training.
