Recordamos junto a Juanjo Elgezabal la eliminatoria de 1983 ante el Liverpool FC. Tras remontar frente al Lech Poznan, el sorteo de los octavos de final de la máxima competición continental de la temporada 1983-1984 deparó un emparejamiento entre el Liverpool FC y el Athletic Club. Cuatro décadas después, hemos recordado dicha eliminatoria junto a Juanjo Elgezabal, que formó parte del once titular que disputó el partido de ida en el feudo de los reds.
