FC Bayern has been eliminated from the DFB Cup. The team suffered a 1-2 defeat (1-1) against 1. FC Saarbrücken in the second round on Wednesday evening. Thomas Müller initially provided Bayern with the lead in the 16th minute, but the third-division club managed to level the score through Patrick Sontheimer (45.+1) shortly before halftime.
