Davide Nicola is no stranger to making the impossible become reality and has become known as the ‘Mr, Wolf’ of coaches in Serie A. In 12016/17 he took rock-bottom Crotone and guided the newly-promoted side to safety, claiming 25 points in the second half of the season. He then performed another miracle in the 2021/22 campaign with serie A new-comers Salernitana. The Granata were again sitting in last place with just 13 points to their name, but Nicola manage to bring the fighting spirit back into his side, who went onto avoiding relegation | Serie A 2023/24
