FC Bayern won the second leg of the UCL quarter finals 1-0 at home against Arsenal FC. Since both teams were leveling themselves out in the first half, no goals were scored going into halftime. FC Bayern came out firing on all cylinders to start the second half, with both Goretzka and Guerreiro hitting the post, just one minute into play. After slowly increasing the pressure on Arsenal’s defense, Joshua Kimmich scored with a beautiful header from a Guerreiro cross. In the remaining 26 minutes, Arsenal was not able to create any further dangerous chances. Thus, the game ended, seeing FC Bayern succesfully advancing to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League against Real Madrid. Here are the highlights of the second leg of the round of 8.
