FC Dallas advanced to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 with a 1-0 win over Memphis 901 FC in an Open Cup Round of 32 match Tuesday night at Toyota Stadium.
FC Dallas rookie Logan Farrington scored his first professional goal tonight in the 73rd minute, etching his name as the 63rd different goalscorer in FC Dallas history during Open Cup matches. Farrington’s strike marked the 120th goal for Dallas in the Open Cup. Forward Jesús Ferreira provided the cross to Farrington marking two-straight games that Ferreira has provided an assist.
