Brutal, bitter, disappointing – the Champions League defeat by Real Madrid on Wednesday evening hit both players and fans hard.
This was also clear to see on the faces of our players as they stood in front of the fans and thanked them with applause for their once again outstanding support. Warm applause also came back from the stands. This unconditional solidarity, this support – both in the first and second leg – for FC Bayern will remain something special and definitely a positive memory of this CL season.
