Eric Quill is introduced as the ninth full-time head coach in FC Dallas history.
FC Dallas Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, President Dan Hunt, and Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director André Zanotta join Quill for the press conference.
FC Dallas named Eric Quill as the club’s ninth head coach. Quill returns to the organization where he previously led North Texas SC from 2019-21 guiding the team to the inaugural USL League One Championship in 2019.
His return to the FC Dallas family underscores the club’s commitment to developing top talent and delivering results. His influence was instrumental in shaping the careers of U.S. Men’s National Team standouts and FC Dallas Academy products Ricardo Pepi, Bryan Reynolds, and Tanner Tessmann, each of whom were members of that 2019 North Texas SC team.
Since departing Frisco in 2021, Quill served as the head coach New Mexico United leading them to the USL Championship Western Conference Semifinals and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals.
A champion of player development and a seasoned coach across all levels of the sport, Quill’s resume includes a stint as an assistant coach with the Columbus Crew from 2021-23.
