Everton bowed out of the FA Cup at the fourth round with a 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Goodison Park.
Antoine Semenyo’s penalty and Daniel Jebbison’s close-range effort – both in the first half – were enough to secure progression for the Cherries.
The Blues will be left scratching their heads how they didn’t get on the scoresheet in the second period, though, hitting the woodwork three times – including from a curling free-kick from debutant Charly Alcaraz – and seeing an effort cleared of the line.
