Everton exited the Carabao Cup with a 2-0 defeat to Wolves at Molineux, despite dominating large periods of the third-round tie.
Both goals came against the run of play, Marshall Munetsi volleying home the opener in the first half and substitute Tolu Arokodare rounded off a rare counter-attack to seal the result for Vitor Pereira’s side in the closing minutes.
