El iruindarra fue el primer futbolista en llegar a Lezama fruto del convenido con UDC Txantrea KKE. Nacido el 16 de marzo de 1951 en la capital navarra, José Luis “Txitxo” Amezketa abrió en 1973 una senda que muchos otros jugadores han transitado posteriormente: Pasar de la UDC Txantrea KKE al Athletic Club.
Iruindarra izan zen Lezamara iritsi zen lehen futbolaria, UDC Txantrea KKE taldearekin hitzartutakoaren ondorioz. 1951ko martxoaren 16an Nafarroako hiriburuan jaioa, Jose Luis “Txitxo” Amezketak 1973an ireki zuen beste jokalari askok gerora egin duten bide bat: UDC Txantrea KKEtik Athletic Clubera jauzia ematea.
